Hugo Boss Juri Shirts

For the past few seasons at our Hatters store we have had the increasingly popular Hugo Boss Juri shirts which feature a contrast geo print trim. The style has a pointed collar making it ideal to wear with a tie in more formal  settings while the trim adds is a nice touch to a plain shirt in casual situations. They are made from 100% breathable cotton and have a special finish which allows for an easy iron while being machine washable. The white with the navy trim shown is not... Read More

Scotch & Soda Underwear

One of the recent editions to our stable of labels is Scotch & Soda and their unique take on many familiar items always brings a smile to the faces of the staff when those brown boxes are opened in the shop at the start of each season.  Due to the popularity of the brand in the last couple of seasons we’ve branched out a bit and decided to stock some accessories this summer.  The highlight from the collection is the underwear, which channels some 1970’s colour pallets and bold prints... Lacoste Polo Shirt Selection

French sports label Lacoste is a European institution, the little crocodile (not alligator) logo nodding subtly to the brand, on polo shirts, jumpers and accessories alike.  Being around 80 years old, they know how to make clothes with quality and always bring a freshness to their collection in terms of colour and design, rarely fussy and always functional.  The pick of this season is their polo shirt range, which was incorporated into their Eau de Lacoste fragrance advertising last year.  The selection of colours used really screams summer and gives... Serge DeNimes SS14

The Serge DeNimes brand is growing season by season and this Spring/Summer we’re branching out – well, a little – with a range of new t-shirts and a sweatshirt.  As per usual, brand founder, Oliver Proudlock has sought through his mother’s photographic archive to source original images that you wont see anywhere else.  These are then lovingly screen printed onto quality 100% cotton t-shirts to create the product you can see on our site right now.  As per usual there’s also the striking monochrome designs like ‘All Seeing Eye’ and... 2013 Christmas Window

The shop window.  A good one grabs the attention of the casual browser, peaks the interest of the urban flâneur, catches the eye of the unprepared pedestrian.  Makes you look, makes you stare, hopefully makes you come inside and have a closer look.  And the most prestigious shop window is at Christmas, when everybody is a bit more open to the charms of a well dressed shop front. This Christmas Jonathan Trumbull are showcasing the work of local Norfolk artist Lee King.  He has created a polar bear constructed from... Read More

Burberry Cashmere Scarves

Burberry’s position as a global brand has only increased in recent years with Kevin Spacey being a one man advert for them in the last few months.  The continued interest in British heritage labels like Burberry and Paul Smith from the eastern markets of China and Japan means the future looks bright for UK fashion.  This Autumn Winter they have again come up with a variety of variations on their classic touchstone pieces like the Mac and the Scarf.  The check design from Burberry dates from the 1920’s when it... Paul Smith Baubles 2013

I was waiting until we got a bit nearer to December before even mentioning the festive period and it’s associated obligations.  But our most Christmas oriented items are selling out and they’re rather special, so my hand has been forced to the keyboard.  For a few years now Paul Smith’s Accessories label has got into the Christmas spirit with a festive Paul Smith bauble in a range of designs, including stripes and swirls in the multi stripe colours.  I’ve been told by the boys in the shop that this season... Hello all.  We’ve been working recently on a few new bits for the website and tried to come up with something original and interesting.  Some of our first new content is a History of one of our biggest and best loved labels, the mighty Hugo Boss, which has been a favourite at Jonathan Trumbull & Hatters for over 30 years.  They’re style is in evidence across their entire collection, from the smart classic lines and looks of the BOSS Black label or more casual and trendy BOSS Orange label.  The...
