2013 Christmas Window

The shop window.  A good one grabs the attention of the casual browser, peaks the interest of the urban flâneur, catches the eye of the unprepared pedestrian.  Makes you look, makes you stare, hopefully makes you come inside and have a closer look.  And the most prestigious shop window is at Christmas, when everybody is a bit more open to the charms of a well dressed shop front.

This Christmas Jonathan Trumbull are showcasing the work of local Norfolk artist Lee King.  He has created a polar bear constructed from wrought iron, quite how we got it into the window is a whole other blog.  Shop manager Andy Smith then adorned the not so fluffy bear with some LED Christmas lights to finish the look.  Lee’s company Ready Earth take commissions for animal and general bespoke wrought ironwork including bird tables and other garden accoutrements.
