The Scarf
September is here and the cool nip of Autumn is creeping in, so…to the winter wardrobe or not, that is the question. Well while your making your mind up about that, pop on a scarf and you’ve just about solved the problem. Get a bit too hot and off it comes, then when the temperature drops in the evening for the journey home from work a scarf is the perfect thing to keep out a chill. Everyone should have a few good scarves in their wardrobe, they can add a point of interest to the usual greys of most winter clothing and they give any outfit a more expensive or designer look without breaking the bank. Here’s a selection of our latest scarves for your perusal.
This classic lambswool scarf is the elegant option, with the subtle branding of a full colour Ralph Lauren polo player.
Add interest to the muted colours of a winter outfit, or just draw the eye with a daring red scarf from Hugo Boss.
Stone Island’s take on the scarf is this endless scarf, sometimes known as a snood. It’s a snug fit around the neck and would certainly do a good job of keeping you warm.
Gant have come up with a really nice design here featuring a small houndstooth, breaking up block colour with a pattern can add interest and pick out colour elsewhere in an outfit.
Armani’s skill in selecting colour is in evidence here, the combination of autumnal tones is warming and would look fantastic with a black, grey or brown suit.
This scarf by Hugo Boss makes provision for casual and formal with the blue echoing a denim brilliantly and the other colours giving the you the opportunity to match it with a complementary shirt or tie.
