Stone Island 30 Years

Stone Island have been a fixture of our Jonathan Trumbull shop since their origin in 1982, our now retired founder Roger Kingsley has one of the original Stone Island Ice Jackets.  That makes it 30 years since the companies inception and as a celebration of their time in the fashion business they have created a special line of jackets.

The cult Italian fashion company has been at the forefront of clothing technology since it began with extreme stone-washing industrial fabrics, resulting in soft yet resilient materials.  They have continued to plough this furrow whatever the rest of the fashion world is up to and as a result have created one of the most individual historical collections in menswear.

Always collectible, the pieces have included temperature reactive fabrics that change colour when you touch them, highly reflective materials, liquid silk, metallic weave.
