Paul Smith’s Naked Lady
Always a magpie for a striking visual, one of Paul Smith’s most successful images is the Naked Lady pin up, a reference the pin ups of the 40s and 50s and the cigarette cards they appear on. There are a number of variations, but the classic and most popular girl is the staring back over her shoulder considering a red telephone. The Paul Smith Accessories range makes use of the Naked Lady imagery on many products to add a cheeky bit of interest to a wallet, a tie or a belt. Usually hidden away inside or behind, the cuff links are the most obvious example of the logo, giving a formal outfit a sense of humour and detail that fellows Paul Smith devotees will notice.
This seasons twist on the Naked Lady is the embossed design recalling a design engraved in stone, offering an even more subtle version of the classic image. We have the round cuff links in navy and pink, as well as the classic photographic reproduction.
