Gant Blackberry Light Weight Knitwear

The Gant clothing label was founded in 1949 by Bernand Gant in the USA after he has emigrated to the states from The Ukraine at a young age. His venture started by making shirts that were made from the highest quality materials and manufacturing standards which he sold to other fashion houses who branded them as their own.

In the 1960’s he began to brand his own Gant Shirts and his first customer was a prestigious New York boutique. The shirts quickly took off with American university students who loved the “preppy” look, and the shirts sold out as soon as stores could stock them. In the 1980’s a Swedish distributor acquired the rights to retail the brand outside of the USA and it quickly became an International success. Today Gant menswear is sold in hundreds of the finest designer clothes retailers around the world.
